Private, Semi-Private and Group Lessons
We offer private and group lessons depending on your preference. Prefer to learn guitar one-on-one? Our private lesson option provides everything you’ll need–we customize lessons based on what you want and need to work on, while dedicated focus ensures the teacher will easily see what areas you excel at and what requires more work. Customized lessons note student capabilities, motivation and musical interests.
Private lessons also offer the chance to learn rock, classical, jazz, Latin, folk, Celtic, gypsy, bluegrass, blues, Americana, R&B and Indian! And while our group classes meet at designated times on specific dates, private lessons are of course scheduled at the student’s convenience.
Semi-private lessons are another option, allowing two people to share the cost of a lesson. This is ideal for friends and family looking to learn guitar together, as well as couples!
Rather work with a group? Our low-cost group guitar lessons in Los Angeles offer a fun environment for learning how to play this beautiful instrument. Eagle Rock Music Studio group lessons meet once a week for five-week intervals, with pre-registration highly recommended. Classes are kept small so our teachers can maintain high dedication to student progress. Most classes are limited to three or four people.
The talented Eagle Rock Music Studio staff has decades’ worth of experience in the music industry, and most have degrees in music education.
Types of Guitar Lessons We Offer
Our studio features numerous guitar lesson options! Pick from any of the following session types, all of which are limited to four students per class and are 45 minutes long:
• Beginning Guitar Lesson for Teens and Adults (Group): This class focuses on learning chords, songs, music reading and tab reading.
• Youth Beginning Guitar (Group): Designed for kids ages 6 to 9 and for ages 10 to 13. These classes focuses on learning chords, songs, music reading and tab reading.
• Beginning Bass Guitar (Group): Our bass guitar option provides lessons on technique, groove and songs.
• Private Options: Private guitar lessons are available in half-hour, 45-minute, and hour-long increments. We offer guitar and bass guitar options.
